Walk to the festival and Sofiero Castle
From Kärnan in the centre of Helsingborg, you can walk north, through beautiful parks and nature, with the ever-present view of the city and Öresund. The well-known forest and nature area Pålsjö forest is passed before the walk ends at Sofiero Castle. The route from Kärnan to Sofiero is six kilometres long.
Bus and train
You can easily get to Helsingborg by train. Within Skåne, both Öresundståg and Pågatåg run regularly. If you live further away, you can travel with SJ towards Helsingborg. Once in Helsingborg, take city bus number 8 northwards towards Domsten and Hittarp. Get off at the Laröd Sofiero main entrance bus stop, the bus stops just outside our entrance.
Car and parking
Taking the car to us is no problem. We have a large car park right outside the entrance and other lawn areas that are signposted. If you have an electric car, you can charge your car while enjoying the park. There are also places for the disabled.
Boat from Elsinore
Take a classic boat trip between Elsinore in Denmark and Helsingborg in Sweden. Ferries leave from Elsinore and Helsingborg Central Station several times an hour. The journey takes about 20 minutes. From the centre of Helsingborg you can then travel to Sofiero by bus, bike, on foot or by car.
